in these chapters they are all traped inside there, "nest or tree house." in these chapters elizabeth is in the "tree house" where it is pitch black and the flash light battries are dying. suzie is sleeping and then elizabeth starts crying and at that part david is (to me) starts comforting her and then he wants to go and then he insist that he will go down stairs and get some tools so they can build a raft so they can get out.
the characters are developing in this story to more caring and comforting because elizabeth and david are acting more nicer to each other. suzie is more or less the same acting like a little angle because elizabeth says that suize was a little angel
they face big new challenges because they need to escape and the water it rising and downstairs is flooded

Spirit Day 2009 Believe
Spirit day!! OMG it was one of the best days I have ever had in grade seven it rocked my soul and made me believe!!
For me the definition of Spirit Day is awesome day learning about God. Laugh, cheer, clap, and just have a heck of a time spending time with friends and making new friends!
Spirit day wow it was a beautiful experiences with everyone. Also the entertainment was wonderful you could laugh and clap. Brad and Gene they are the best at getting your attention and then telling you these stories that make you feel like you are in the story it self and make you like wanting to cry. Matt Maher and his music they are an awesome band they place God in songs that you can dance around to. The beautiful contemporary dance made me lost seeing what we do when we get tempted.
Spirit day: is a time to learn about God. Laughing, cheering, clapping and have a good spending time with friends and making new friends! I just can't believe that there was only one time that we get to celebrate spirit day with friends and also the different Catholic Schools because spirit day is so fun to remember before graduating elementary school. One of the most fun part was when we would all go in a circle and start stomping our feet, and then the caller says "LET ME SEE YOUR FUNKY CHICKEN!?!?!?" and then we respond "WHATS THAT YOU SAY?????!!! and after three times chanting the caller steps in the circle and does a chicken action and says "AHOO!! AHOO!" and then we follow and everyone swarms and goes to a different spot. That was just the beginning there are much more to look forward too.
Spirit day is an awesome day for new experiences because you could be at a concert with a talented singer and very good comedian. I mean spirit day is just so fun you could never say that spirit day was just a waist of time and no fun or say I never want to do this ever again.
Oh Brad and Gene are one of the best people in the world because they get your attention by making you laugh and then they will get all serious and talk really smoothly also some of there stories are so touching that it made me cry.
O my you know Matt Maher right? Excuse me you don't? He is one of the best Christian rock writers ever! I have so many of his songs stuck in my head because he is a very talented singer! His song are flowing but rocking!
The dance that the stage crew did was awesome because the girl is with God but then Satan come and takes the girl away from God. She tries to go back to God but more and more temptations come then the girl tries to go back but the temptation don't let her until she finally reunited with God!
So all in all Spirit day was wonderful experience, with friends and also you could feel that God is with you too. So if I had a chance to do it again I would go again.

My Visit to The Oranges
Dear Alice,
Today I went to visit The Orange Culture you know the island across from Fruit Salad Island. I was there for a couple of minutes and I was “midnight” for the whole time! They where all moody and they don’t seem to like any physical contact.
It seems that we have nothing in common! They don’t like physical contact, there game is really complicated, they are so mean, they don’t welcome any visitors, and they say “WHOOP” more than us! I’m telling you that they speak backwards like instead of saying “1, 2, 3 GO!” they say “3, 2, 1 STOP!” They never want to be touched and in there game a man can only play with a girl I tell you that when they came over to our land they never wanted to interact with us and they kept talking in there own language it was so strange but we where so happy because we had visitors but the one flaw was the they weren’t really into our culture and there was no way that we could communicate it was so hard! I wish they could be way more interested in our culture and happy!
Though I was a little “Firetruck” I was still having fun sometimes you just have to accept it.
Even thought we had a lot of differences we do have some similarities.
We had something in common like both of our cultures speak in one word sentences.
Both of our cultures name are named after fruit, we both play games we both have certain emotions, in games a certain gender has to approach another person to play or to talk, and we both say “WHOOP!” Our cultures might be different in a lot of ways but we have a lot of similarities.
What I have learned is that we need to accept everyone for what culture, language they are from. I also leaned that it was harder to do this in they olden days because now we have translators, computers, and dictionaries

Dear Diary,
Today was an amazing day I took my flight to Egypt and immediately started to dig for some artifacts! This all happened because two weeks ago, I had received a phone call from dr. remove and he said that they found a map of wonderful treasures like King Tukniumitsanimi’s gold right beside a busy market street. Once I started digging, my colleagues and I asked for the map we looked at it very well and started to dig 8 meters in the hot dessert then I finally saw something it looked like it was made out of straw. At least the hole was big enough to fit the three of us we started to dust the sand around and then we dug up something. It was like a poster but made out of straw and it had pictures of a tall man and the sun shining down on him with two slaves on either sides of him. According to legend this is a picture of Pharaoh Aton, being raised up into the sky where the gods have waited for him, for centuries. Pharaoh was the ruler of all Egypt for years; some people even say that he was the best Pharaoh who ruled Egypt. The hieroglyphics say that he lived a wonderful life and that he died at the age of 207. Pharaoh died when he was taking a night walk and that a sand storm gulped him up. Legend says that it was a way of the gods taking him peacefully. It was a good way of dying like this because the legend said the grains are people and they praise him and then the grains sprinkle a potion that put you to sleep and lets you go to the gods much more easily.
Like I said today was an awesome day!

Dear Jesus,
Today I saw the most beautiful thing ever I saw the sun was setting and in the front of the big orange star, there was a tree branch that looked like a cross and then it looked at it and it was so amazing and wonderful, I saw so many things that amazed me I feel so awesome just seeing these wonderful things. I also saw something cool because I passed by ambleside and in the squiggly lines in the middle was birds in the distance formed like a smile, sent from above! And now that was exordinare! I love all these thing that I see they are so amazing I can just fall in love with them because there are so lovely. The last amazing thing that I saw in my life is when we went for a walk-a-thon and the earth was just waking up but when the earth wakes up it is so beautiful especially when the fresh dew fall has fallen and in the morning it is sunny yet cold and also beautiful. Because the sun is trying to shine thought the trees and through the little patches of free land the sun shines thought it looks so beautiful. It looks like this because the light also hits the dew drops and it sparkles it just looks like God was there walking beside me! That is the end and it is around 252 words.

Grade Seven at the Back to School BBQ
So I started grade seven a couple weeks ago, and I knew it was going to be an awesome year because we have an awesome teacher named Mr. Dotto. So the couple of weeks were so fun because Mr. D is a very funny teacher and he jokes allot in class which is awesome. But almost everyday he warns us that we need to grow up but I think we can do that. (I’m not saying that we won’t for ever but in class of course.) Lasts year they grade sevens said that he was cool but they didn’t get to do blogs and other stuff. Also we have 74 things to look forward to for example we have “Spirit Day” and that is coming up, we get to go to UBC, go mini golfing, we get to use the laptop allot this year, and GET TWO WEEKS OFF FOR THE OLYMPICS!!! There are many more but I don’t want my blog to be all about what we are going to do for grade seven. But I am really excited to know about the new school year. Then yesterday was the back to school BBQ but before we did our speeches for student council and I was running for secretary but then I lost I was super sad I mean like super, super sad. But I was told at the BBQ that I lost by ONE vote one! Wow I was really surprised but I also felt much, much better. It is tradition that the student council get to go in the dunk tank but we didn’t have the dunk tank we had a shower tank, it is like a glass big box they can see you and if the ball goes in the hole it make the shower in the box turn on. Since my friend who was also running for secretary, ( there is only two of us) left early I got to go in to the shower tank and the water was so cold and Mr. Dotto got me like 2 times! But I was lucky because if my mom didn’t volunteer I might of not have went in the tank because I cant go home and I brought all my things just in case I won and looks like luck caught me. words are 361 i think?
