The 10 best moments I had at Evan’s Lake, where moments that I never expected.

Dirt study with Mr. Field
Just at the beginning of this I would like to say to Isabel that I’m sorry. After we made our walk to the site for our dirt study, everyone stopped to listen. Everyone was standing on a small dirt hill, Isabel who was standing on the edge of the hill where the dirt was really crumbly. She lost her balance, and slipped down the hill, some people laughed (including me) but I was kind enough to help her up with the help of Caitlin. (She was ok!) Once more I am sorry for Isabel for laughing.

Water experiment, with Miss. Grossi and Mr. Dotto
I loved this because Marvin, Caitlin and, Isabel where wearing rubber boots, and went into the lake and let water and water striders inside there boots. They also got socked up to the butts! I laughed so hard, right until Marvin kicked me and made my pants look soaked. The whole time this Marvin would run into the lake and fill his boots with water and jump around, and let the water splash out of his boots. Caitlin almost dived into the lake because Marvin dropped the net in the lake and Caitlin had to get it, when she came up she was socking. Isabel who made me laugh so hard, got wet too. She made me laugh sooo hard when she screamed and Mr. Dotto and Miss. Grossi look over and I say “What’s wrong?!” and Isabel says “THE WATER SPLASHED MY BUTT!!” and I start laughing so hard.

The Bus to Evan’s Lake
*sigh* the bus was a big bucket of fun. Brendon and Martin who where on the window side, opened there window to the bottom so on the highway the wind would *whoooosh* in and I was kind of in the middle and the wind would blow me and Jessica’s hair like crazy. Jessica and I would pretend that we where in the hair commercials, we where swaying our hair until we felt sick! The other thing that was funny was that I brought a notepad and Juliana brought her markers, so we would always write funny notes to Mr. Dotto who was behind the bus. We would write notes like, HI! COWS! And others Mr. Dotto did reply once he said hi! I was laughing sooo hard but Miss. Grossi told us to stop because we where going up the hill.

The EPIC volleyball game
Before I explain this I would just like to say that Miss. Grossi’ team POWEND! Right after Miss. Surian’s activity we had to go to the next activity. We needed to make a charcoal drawing. (EH! Remember Mr. D?) After we played a volley game. I was going to be on Mr. Dotto’s team, but I didn’t want to be on a team that is bad. (Just joking!!!) I played for Miss Grossi’ team so then we needed to do a switch. Since Mr. Dotto’s team always won, and Mr. Dotto kept bragging, Miss. Grossi really wanted to win. And guess who won MISS GROSSI’ TEAM! Everyone was so glad. But then Mr. Dotto kept saying that he let us win. (But we all know that he is not THAT good) Just Kidding!

Cabin inspections
Almost everyday we had an inspection for our cabin. Also with our cabin clean we would serve it with a helpful serving of entertainment. We sang two songs for the teacher one was a parody of the school song and the second was a parody of telephone by lady gaga. The school song went like this. I’m glad to be from cabin 6 it’s the best place on Earth, if you look over there in that corner you will see a mouse named Smurf.
And I gladly go to bad at 10 o’clock, and keep my locker clean cuz’ there is no doubt I love this place God Bless Evan’s Lake.
The second song was the parody of telephone.
Hello, hello, teachers welcome to cabin six. We got something for you it is entertainment. We cleaned this room just for you so remember to wipe your dirty shoes, wipe your dirty shoes, wipe your dirty shoes, if you don’t we will hit you with the broom. JUST JOKING!

Shelter building
This activity was hmmm sad. We needed to make a shelter and my group changed there place 3 times! That was sad and then when we found the spot but we had trouble making the shelter. At the end when it was time to dump the water on the shelter someone but a log on top of the shelter and when all of us huddled under the shelter Mr. Dotto tossed the water and the log came down on my back! I shall have my revenge!!!

Mornings
Every morning we would need to wake up at 5:30 to have a shower, in hot water if you wake up around 6:30 the hot water is gone there is only Ice cold. So every morning we would need to wake up and get ready for the shower a make sure not to wake up the counselors. But every morning we would say good morning to the girls and sometime if you late you can here the entire girls scream because of the cold water.

Prey and Predator game
This was a really fun game some people would play the flies, which had to look for crayons. The frogs who hunted the flies. And the hawk who had to look for the frogs.

Canoeing
This was really fun because I and Kristina were paddling and we had so much trouble steering the boat. But besides that it was so fun. We went to the tip of the lake to the dock even though we found bruised arms after.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE DANCE! & THE REPEAT AFTER ME SONGS!
The repeat after me songs where sooo fun I laughed so hard!
But I really liked the dance it was the most fun I ever had at Evan’s Lake! The was so my happiness in the air and everyone was so happy. Even thought there was some tears shed it was a wonderful night!
Evan’s Lake was sooo fun I wish I could go again
